What is the best way to arrive at Argiano?

The best way to arrive at Argiano is by car. Argiano is located approximately 10 minutes from the town of Montalcino in the province of Siena. The last 3km of road is unpaved. The entrance to the gated parking lot is on the right before passing the Villa. Ample parking space is available for all guests.

Do you recommend any places to stay overnight in the area?

The Festival is located in one of the most beautiful parts of Tuscany, filled with accommodations from rental properties, to farm stays, to 5-star resorts. The quaint borgo of Sant’Angelo in Colle is only 10 minutes away.

How should I dress to attend the Argiano Baroque Music Festival?

There is no dress code, but if one asks we suggest something along the lines of casual elegance, or business casual. The temperature can vary greatly according to the spaces accessed and the time of day. The current July weather has been very hot, however, please keep in mind that the cellars are a constant 16 - 18 °C and the courtyard is an open-air space. A light breeze can occur when the sun goes down, therefore towards the end of summer we recommend a light jacket, sweater, or extra layer in case of a chilly evening. We also recommend wearing shoes that will allow you to walk on a variety of surfaces from gravel to grass to the antique bricks of the villa. 

What Covid-19 safety protocols are in place?

The Argiano Baroque Music Festival complies with all governmental regulations and sanitary guidelines to prevent the spread of Covid-19. In particular, mask wearing is encouraged but not mandatory in closed spaces (cellar tour, bathrooms), sanitizing gel will be available, the concert program will be available online accessible by QR code, food service for the aperitivo will be portioned by staff to avoid cross-contamination.

Is there assigned seating?

Yes, seating for the concert will be assigned in advance according to the online reservations for each evening. We regret that it is not possible to select your own seats at the time of booking. An usher will escort you to your reserved seating when the doors open to the courtyard.  Please note that, as this is a rather small and intimate venue, all seats have a good view of the stage and excellent sound quality.

How long will the concert last?

The duration of the performance is approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes, without intermission, scheduled to finish at about 9:15pm.

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate guests with pets during the concerts of the Festival. Service animals are excluded from this policy. Please contact us at info@argianomusicfestival.com if you will bring a service animal.
